New Job and a Football Game

Riley started a new job in September.  He is a marketing manager for a dental company here in town.    So far he is enjoying his new job.

This is the first time that Riley has had an office all to himself.  He is still deciding how he wants to decorate it.

Riley's company has a suite at the Purdue Football field.  We were able to go to a game there a few weeks ago.  It was pretty nice watching the game from the suite.

I always love watching Purdue's marching band.

They even stopped by for a visit.

This is just another view of the suite.

So Much Hair

So, as I was putting pictures onto the computer this time I thought that I wouldn't have as many hair pictures as usual.  I was wrong!  I think I have even more!  Oh well, someday I will look back at all of my hair pictures and wish that she still lets me fix her hair.

This is the day 2 hairdo from the picture above it.  She looks cute with her big crimpy hair.

 Knots

I thought for sure that her knots (pictured above) would be a crazy mess when I took them out. However, they made perfect little ringlets.  I am planning to try the knots again when she has someplace fun to be the next day.  It would be a cute change for her.

My niece let me fix her hair.  I love it when that happens!  It was definitely different working with long curly hair.  I am used to me and Jaylee's fine straight hair.

Dad's Can Fix Hair Too!

Riley's brother has three little girls and he fixes all of their hair!  I love it when he sends me pictures of his hairdos.  He does a great job!  I will never know if Riley also has his brother's talent because I am so obsessed with fixing Jaylee's hair by myself.  Keep going Tyler!

Gymnastics

Brady has been taking a gymnastics class at a local gym.  He loves it!  It is a great way for him to be able to jump, climb, and just use up all of his extra energy.

Random Shots from the Past few Weeks

Jaylee

Easton brought this picture home from school a few weeks ago.  He was supposed to draw a picture of someone in his family and tell his class about it.  I asked him what this was a picture of and he said, "It is Papa sleeping!"  I am sure his friends were all very impressed.

Chewy enjoys laying in the sun.  Cute dog.

A few weeks ago my mom and I took the kids to Turkey Run State Park.  My mom took the kids on a little hike, while I did a trail run.  I picked a rugged trail and when I saw these ladders I realized that is was pretty stupid to be running alone.  I made it back safe, but next time I will take a much less rugged trail.

Brady's class had a City Bus field trip, and Jaylee and I went along.  We rode on a bus to the bus depot and washed the bus.

Easton had a nursery rhyme program at school.  He had to memorize a nursery rhyme and present it while wearing a costume.  He chose "The Three Blind Mice."  In this picture he is the one on the end wearing sunglasses.

Even Batman (Easton) needs a nap.

Riley made this vegetable decoration for a bridal shower that his mom put on.  He is creative.

Brady and Silver

Easton and Jaylee were the first in our family to get the flu this year.  Winter is coming!

Halloween 2012

I am not sure if anyone figured out what her hair was supposed to be or not.  It was a pumpkin. Can you tell?

Riley's office decided to have everyone wear a costume to work on Halloween.  Riley went as a cowboy.  He may have thought it was a costume, but I just thought he was sexy!

I enjoyed my third Village Nursery School Halloween costume parade.  Brady loves the ninja turtles!

My mom and I were invited to a Witches Party on the Friday before Halloween.  It was a fun party and we enjoyed getting dressed up.

A picture of my three little trick-or-treaters.

Easton and Deacon looked cute getting ready to trick-or-treat.

This year we followed our usual tradition and went trick-or-treating with Emmie and Johnny in their neighborhood.  We were happy to have Deacon come along with us for his first Halloween.

...and they are off!

We also had a Halloween party at my parents house put on by Riley and the young men at church.  It included a trunk-or-treat and a haunted trail in the woods.  Unfortunately we were so busy organizing it that I didn't get any pictures.  It was fun to do, though.
