Hair Journal -- June 2013

Her hair is getting so long...

...and it is even a little wavy!

My mom was around this morning so I had her copy Jaylee's hair bow in my hair.  We are twinners today!

Swim Lessons

We just finished up four weeks of swim lessons.  Easton has gotten to be a really good swimmer and Brady is improving real quickly as well!

Garden - 2013

I can't seem to stay very far ahead of the weeding, but I do love my vegetable garden and flower beds!

Random Shots from the Past Few Weeks

This picture is from Easton's last day of school.  We were all really excited to have him home for the summer!

One of our first activities of the summer was to head to the library and sign up for the summer reading program.

I may have said it before, but every girl needs a dog!

My mom drives us around a lot, and as you can see it is not very fun to have three kids squished in the backseat of a car.  I am really grateful for my mini-van!

Just another library (or should I say 'computer lab') trip.

We went to see Monsters University with Deacon, Rockwell, and Dax.  It was a great movie.  Also, we did this on Deacon's first birthday!

Almost every night after we put the kids in bed Riley and I head outside to garden and do yard work.  We had a nice surprise taped to the door as we headed inside a few nights ago.

Strawberry Patch

My mom and I took the kids to a strawberry patch a few weeks ago.  We picked 20 pounds of strawberries.  We froze half of them and turned the other half into 24 jars of jam! Yummy!

Jennifer and Family Visits!

 Easton, Joey, Talon, and Will

My sister and her kids were able to spend a few weeks this June here in Indiana.  We had lots of cousin playing time, and as you can see most of it was spent swimming!

Jaylee Turns 3 Years Old

All Jaylee wanted for her birthday this year was an "All Girl's Party" and a "Pizza Cake."  Luckily we had some girl cousins in town, so I made her "all girl" party happen.  I took all of the little girls to a nail salon and got their nails painted.  It was pretty cute!

They all loved their new nails!

After the nail salon, we headed over to Culver's to get some ice cream.

After her girl party we had cake and presents at Nana and Papa's house.

On her actual birthday, we had a family day.  We started out by going out to eat for breakfast.  As you can tell, she was feeling pretty silly.

Her second birthday treat was brownies and ice cream, when we got back from breakfast.

 ...a few more presents.

 Happy Day

Jaylee's last "cake" was her highly anticipated pizza cake.  We did that cake at my mom's house with my sister and her family who were visiting.  She got plenty of practice at blowing out candles this year!

T-ball is Over Until Next Year

We had another successful T-ball season.  We had a really good team, with really nice parents.  Riley enjoyed coaching and the boys enjoyed playing!
