Jaylee's Hair

 Waterfall Braid

Aunt Kalie made Jaylee these cute bobbi pins.

Diamonds

Have any of you blog readers ever tried out one of my hairstyles?

Baby Deacon

I have a new nephew.  Melanie had her first baby last week.  He is such a cute and sweet baby.  Of course, Easton was thrilled to go to the hospital and hold him.  Deacon was only 12 hours old in this picture!

I spent an evening with Melanie while she was in the hospital.  Since she couldn't go on an ICEE run; I brought the ICEE run to her.  I have had so much fun helping Melanie and getting to hold Deacon.
I haven't seen that little guy for two days and I miss him already!  They are a sweet family.

 Story time with Grandma

This is what happens when you have a sweet little princess, who is just a little spoiled.  Jaylee is laying on the floor crying because I wouldn't let her wear her "baseball" dress to Easton's T-ball game.  In my defense, she had worn her "baseball" dress to the previous T-ball game.  I can't let her wear the same thing two times in a row, can I?  Girls are just made different, than boys.

It's that time of year again.  Garden fresh green beans for dinner!

We found this baby crow stuck in our window well last week.  After we took it out it decided to hang out at our house.  He was a nice little pet and even though the Crow's ate all of our strawberries this year we still wanted to take care of it.  Unfortunately, Chewy was not so forgiving and got ahold of it when we weren't looking... sad.

Brady is such a sweet boy.

Jaylee found this swimsuit in her drawer and just had to try it on.  She liked looking at herself in the mirror!

T-Ball: Team Athlete

 Team Athlete
This is Easton's T-ball team on picture day.  We really had a lot of fun watching him play and Riley enjoyed coaching the team.  Easton improved a lot over the season.  We can't wait for next year.

Of course, Jaylee had to make an appearance on the field.  She always seems to steal the attention away from her brothers.

After the last game, we had cake and an awards ceremony.  Each player received a trophy and Riley made individual awards for all of the players.  He gave Easton the "Head in the Game" award.  (I should also note that the award for best spectator goes to my dad.  He didn't miss a single game!)

Before they ate cake, we tried taking a team picture.  I did a horrible photography job.  Which picture is better-- the one that Riley is cut out of? or the one with the awful sun glare?  Oh well, next year I guess!

Double Rainbow

After a little rainstorm I looked outside and saw the most beautiful rainbow all the way across our property!  It was complete from end to end.  As you can tell from the picture is was even a double rainbow.  This is just another reason I love living in the middle of farmland!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jaylee

Our little girl turned 2 this month!  She has been so much fun and always brings a smile to our face.

Yes, she is wearing a tiara for her birthday.  Why not?

Jaylee was very excited about her daisy cake.  (Sorry I didn't get the full cake in the picture!)  Riley is getting very good at decorating the kid's birthday cakes.  He's a good guy!

We had a nice garden party.  All of our family that lives in town came over to celebrate.

Just like all two year olds, she loved opening presents!

 New necklaces and a purse!

 Playing with toys.

Even though she is making a grumpy face, I thought this was a pretty picture.
