Easton Catches His First Fish

Easton's caught his very first fish this weekend!!!

To truly be a boy with Hayman blood, you have to know how to fish. Riley is not much of a fisherman so we left it up to grandpa to teach Easton how to fish.

I love this picture! Easton and my dad get along so well. Easton can spend hours outside just following grandpa around. They are good friends.

Starting to reel in his fish...

Grandpa helping to hold the pole...

...and it is finally out of the water. (Easton does need to thank Grandpa for his help with catching the fish. Easton gave up holding the pole after about 2 minutes, so Grandpa was patient and kept the line in the water. When the fish finally took the bait, Grandpa made sure it was hooked good and then called Easton over to reel it in.)

Easton was pretty proud of his catch.

Brady wasn't so sure about it, but wanted to hold onto the fishing line like Easton did.

36 Weeks and Indiana Fun

Brady

Brady enjoyed running through tall weeds with Grandma. He got his first tick from this outing. Luckily Grandma was babysitting and she got to be the one to find it!

A Baby Shower

A few friends from church had a baby shower for me last week. It was a lot of fun and I even enjoyed seeing all of the 'pink' bags.

I told everyone that I just needed girl clothes, and that is what I got! I finally feel like the baby will have something to wear when she comes out! I got them all sorted and put away last night so now I just have to wait for the baby to come and try them on.

My mom was even able to make it over here to come to the shower.

Happy Mother's Day

Rather than have a 3 1/2 year old and 18 month old try to make breakfast for me, I decided it would be best to go out to breakfast on Saturday. This picture is of me and my boys heading out for my Mother's Day breakfast.

Swim Lessons

We just finished up another round of swimming lessons. Easton completed the Pre-school Level 1 class and is now able to move on to Level 2! Brady finished his first Water-tots class. After Brady's last class we let Easton get in and swim with him during the open swim time. These boys are beginning to love being in the water.

First Blooms of Spring

My favorite part about this time of year is watching all of my flowers come back. I get so excited when I see the first leaves poking through the ground and even more excited when I get my first blooms!
