Random Shots from the Past Few Weeks

Spring is here! I always know spring has come when I see fresh green daylilies coming up. In a few weeks I should see my first yellow bloom and then we will know that summer is here!

Happy birthday Johnny! My nephew Johnny recently had his birthday and Sara made mini Mater cakes for all of the little kids. They were pretty impressed!

We are looking forward to summer and many more campfires with grandpa. It is just another reason that we love living close to family.

We met Riley in town for dinner last week and Jaylee had to sit with him at a table for two. It was pretty cute!

It is always fun to see the kids playing well together. On this particular day we found the My Little Ponies and the Dinosaurs all lined up to go to battle with one another. It was an interesting fight.

Easton's Spring Break

Easton had a great spring break. His Papa had a work conference in Memphis, Tennessee, so Papa and Nana decided to take Easton and two of his cousins down there with them! Easton had so much fun, he is still telling us stories from his vacation. He was gone for four days and I don't think he ever got homesick! Below are the pictures that Nana texted to me while they were away.

Easton like hanging out at the hotel with his cousins.

Nana said that Easton stretched and stood on his toes to be tall enough to ride on the go-karts. Apparently Ruby got to ride on a boat by herself, but Easton couldn't because he was not tall enough. He wasn't going to let that happen again!

Brady 3 1/2

Riley has really been wanting to get Brady a set of junior size golf clubs. He was going to do it for Easter, but when Easton went away on his spring break we thought it was the perfect time. Brady couldn't have been more excited. He kept saying that they were awesome and has been asking to go back to the driving range every day! It was so fun to see him that excited.

Jaylee - 21 months

I snapped this picture of Jaylee and when I looked back at it, I was reminded of a picture of myself from that age. I am going to try and find that picture the next time I am at my mom's house. If I can find it I will scan it in and post it.

More Hair Pictures

I know I said that I was not going to post anymore hair pictures... however I was asked by a couple of my sister-in-laws not to stop. I still have fun with Jaylee's hair so I was more than happy to continue taking pictures of Jaylee's hair!

My mom came over shortly after I fixed Jaylee's hair last week, and I just had to have her fix mine to match. Who says moms and daughters can't match!

Joey's Baptism

We were recently able to go up to Michigan to see my nephew, Joey, be baptized. It was a fun trip and a special baptism. The kids always have so much fun visiting Joey's house, and I always like seeing my brother.

Grandpa helped babysit Jaylee!

On the way home we stopped at Dairy Queen and Chewy even got some ice cream! The drive through lady saw Chewy and thought he needed some so she gave him a "doggie" bowl. Chewy was pretty excited about it.
