Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas in Indiana with my parents this year. Easton and Brady were able to spend a lot of time with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jared, Aunt Sara, and Emmie. We spent Christmas Eve doing the usual Hayman traditions of eating soup and snacks, reading the Christmas story, opening presents, and having Santa come visit.

Santa brought both of the boys cars, and they were eager to start playing with them.

This is Cousin Emmie opening up a present from Grandma and Grandpa. The boys really enjoyed being able to play with her.

Christmas Morning

Waiting to See if Santa Came
Easton was really excited, Brady didn't know what was going on.

Here they come...

This is Easton's first look at his new "Lightning McQueen" bike.

Brady was really confused and stood peeking around the corner until I finally went and got him!

A Note from Santa

Easton learned to eat avacados from his cousin Ruby. We just had to put one in his stocking and he was really excited to eat it!

Both boys got a flashlight in their stocking. They have an obsession with them...

Here he comes!
Easton did really good on his bike. He was able to ride it as soon as he got on. My parents house was perfect for riding inside. He made tons of laps around my mom's kitchen and living room.

Easton did not want to take off his bike helmet to eat breakfast!

Brady likes showing off his new workboots!

Tractor Driving

One of my kids favorite things to do at their grandma and grandpa's house is to drive the kiddie tractor. Easton is getting pretty good... so good that he got into trouble for running over his brother (on purpose)!

Boys and Baseball

It doesn't matter how cold it is outside or how old they are, boys will always love playing sports.

Date Night

Riley had a formal Christmas party for work, so we decided to take advantage of it. My dad drove 3 hours to babysit the boys overnight for us! I think the boys had a lot of fun and Easton enjoyed watching "SNL Best of Chris Farley" and staying up as late as he wanted! My dad didn't seem too tired when we got home so hopefully he will do it again sometime. As for us we had a nice "romantic getaway."

I guess this is my first belly shot of this pregnancy. Though I am not sure I should be showing this much so early on. (I am only 13 weeks at this point) I guess being pregnant three times in less than 4 years will cause this!

Beautiful Cincinnati Skyline
We stayed in northern Kentucky right on the river facing downtown Cincinnati. We have really loved living in this town. Cincinnati is very unique, has a lot of history, and the people who live here are so proud of everything Cincinnati related.

Sweet Boys

Look how sweet my boys are all ready to go to church...

Well don't let them fool you, this is what they turn into just a few hours after those church clothes come off! I had no idea that brothers learned to wrestle this young, but yes they love it. That is until someone gets hurt!

What the @#!@!# ???

After only being able to get pregnant with my boys by using fairly aggressive fertility treatments, Riley and I thought we were in the clear. We also thought we were going to wait a few years to have more kids. We were wrong! As of June 2010 we will have a 3 1/2 year old, a 20 month old, and a newborn. Though this was a complete shock we are excited for this little blessing to come to our home. Where in our home do we have space for a baby is the next question...

Raking Leaves

Fall is my favorite season of the year, but better than that is seeing my boys outside working together!

Hunting in Indiana

Daddy got some food for the freezer this weekend when we visited Indiana.
Easton thought the deer was pretty cool, and wanted to give it a hug.
Brady kept panting at it like he does when he sees dogs.

Happy Birthday Brady!!!

Brady turned 1 this weekend! This year has went by so fast, and we can't believe how grown up he is. He is now walking, saying a few words, copying everything we do, and constantly trying to wrestle his brother and dog. He celebrated by having his Nana, Papa, Uncle Curtis, and Aunt Shayla come visit, opening presents, eating cake, and trick-or-treating.

Before he Opened his Presents

After he Opened all of his Presents

He must be practicing to blow out his candle in this picture.

Nana and Papa brought Easton his birthday presents this weekend too. He was really excited about this fireman outfit. His fire extinguisher even shoots out real water!

Earthquake Cake
Okay, so it was meant to be a baseball cake, but my first ever attempt and stacking two round cakes together didn't go so well. I think I over-extended myself on Easton's cake and just didn't have any creativity or craftiness left for Brady. It is hard to be the 2nd child!

Digging In

Trick-or-Treat!

Easton and Brady were able to go Trick-or-Treating this year. They got a ton of candy and Easton loved putting on a costume. Brady was mostly just along for the ride, but we discovered that he loves suckers!

Easton and Brady Before
Easton's Halloween costume this year was a bat. Whenever anyone asked him what he was going to be for Halloween he always said, "I am going to be, not a baseball bat, but a flying bat!" Brady went as a skunk. The best part about Brady's costume is that my mom made this when my older brother was a child. Most of my family and some of Brady's cousins have worn this for their first Halloween. It began as a cat and my sister added the white stripe to make it a skunk. This costume is over 30 years old!!

Heading out for Candy
We were glad that Papa was here to pull the trick-or-treaters in the wagon. I think he had more fun than the boys and he made sure that they got a lot of candy!

Easton and Brady After
My neighborhood was a good place for trick-or-treating. People were passing out candy by the handfuls! They were also all sitting out on their porches ready for the kids to come by. It was so much fun.
