18 weeks and a nice blue van

With a third kid on the way, Riley and I realized that it was time to get a mini-van. We actually really love it and are excited to fill it up with kids!

Happy Birthday Jessica!!

I turned 28 this month. Riley brought home Chipotle for lunch and even made me a cheesecake. We also took the kids and all went out to a nice dinner the weekend after my birthday. It was an awesome birthday, but I am sad that the cheesecake is gone.

Random Shots from the Past Week

Riley hadn't even been home from work longer than 5 minutes the other day and the boys already had him playing! They were all being kings. I am always so glad that Riley chooses to go to work earlier in the morning so he can be home before 5:00pm every day. The boys get so excited to see him and play with him every time he comes home.

Thank You to 'The Wiggles'
The Wiggles is the only show that can actually hold Brady's attention for longer than a few minutes. While I don't really want to put the boys in front of the T.V., sometimes I just need at least 20 minutes to get stuff done. If I ever come across a mom who says that she has never used T.V. as a babysitter, then I will call her a liar!

The other night at dinner Brady was doing a lot of complaining. I finally just handed him the serving spoon from the mashed potatoes. He thought it was so much fun and it entertained him for the rest of the meal!

Easton's face is dirty because we were eating dinner when this picture was taken, but he looks so cute that I had to post it anyway.

Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

Today was Easton's first day of Sunbeams at church! It is hard to believe that we have a kid old enough for that. He was excited and his teacher said that he did really well.

Brady had to sneak his way into the picture taking...
(Holding the dangerous golf club he got for Christmas. This is the gift that just keeps on giving... giving bruises that is.)

I had to speak in church today so I decided Easton and I needed a picture together. I wasn't sure whether to post this picture because in Riley's exact words, "You have a big goofy grin and look kind of crazy. It reminds me of Jennifer." Jennifer is my sister and since she is awesome I decided to put the picture up on the blog!

Snow Day!!!

We finally had a good amount of snow this week. Riley's work let him out early on the day of the snowstorm, so we took advantage of that and took the kids outside to play while we shoveled the driveway. Easton was more worried about "working" than playing in the snow. A few days after these pictures were taken we took him out and bought him a kid size snow shovel. He has been having fun ever since.

My mom got me a new winter coat and hat for my birthday. I had to start wearing them a few days early, though!

16 weeks and 38 weeks

Riley's sister, Shayla, is pregnant also. I decided that we needed to take a picture together before she has the baby, which could be any day now!

Happy New Year

We spent New Year's weekend with Riley's family. Since we were not there on Christmas we all got to open more presents! The boys loved getting more things. We also did the usual Gibb Holiday traditions of playing games, going to movies, eating lots of good food, and the traditional 'Candy Bar Game.' Below are a few pictures of the boys opening presents.

The big box contained a golf set! I told Riley's mom that Brady likes balls and anything that can be used as a weapon. Well you can't get much closer than a golf set to those two things! Brady has been loving it, but already got it taken away once since we have been home. It may have to become an outside toy. Easton has been flinching every time Brady walks by with a golf club!

Easton was really excited about this shirt. His Aunt Emily and Uncle Tyler gave it to him. He has been asking to wear it everyday since we got home!
