Easton loves to play with his little brother. Brady doesn't get a say in what they play. He just has to deal with it. I am guessing his first choice would not have been to be given a leash!

Summer is Here!!!

We got our pool passes over the weekend! We are excited to play at the pool this summer and meet Riley there after work. Brady wasn't too excited to have the sun in his eyes but he kind of liked the water and the big sand box!

Bashful Ostrich 5K

Today Easton and I ran in the Bashful Ostrich 5K. I did the 5k and finished in 28:00, which is a personal best for me! Easton competed in the Diaper Dash for kids 3 and under. He finished 2nd, which is not a big suprise to any of us that knows Riley's sports history. He was so excited for the race and did a really great job!

Indy 500 Mini Marathon

Well, I did it. I ran a half marathon! I finished it in 2 hours and 28 minutes and I ran the whole way. It actually was a lot of fun and I am really glad I did it!

My Mom and I -- My mom walked it and did a great job. I was proud of her and it was fun to do it with her.

This is my sister-in-law Sara. She ran the whole race as well. She finished about the same time as me but we didn't see each other until afterwards. We may have to run together more often because we seem to run at the same pace!

Me and the Family -- I definately could not have done this without them. Riley had lots of hours of babysitting while I was out running to train for it. He also ran with me a lot even though he hates to run! The boys spent several hours in the jogging stroller while we ran. They do okay in there, but when they get bored they start picking on each other. Riley has been super supportive through this whole thing which really made it a lot more fun and easy to do. I missed having him running with me through those last 3 miles of the race, though!

Little Cowboy

While we were in Indiana this weekend, Easton got to ride grandpa's horse! He always has a blast playing outside and helping grandpa in the barn. He really enjoyed riding and giving 'Jigs' a hug!

Easter 2009

We spent Easter at Tyler and Emily's house in St. Louis this year. It was fun for Easton to celebrate Easter with his cousins and other family!

They were really excited to hunt Easter eggs!
