Random Shots from the Past Few Weeks

 We joined the YMCA a few months ago.  We have really enjoyed using everything that they have to offer.  This is a picture of Brady and Jaylee playing with a little basketball hoop after I got done working out.

 Riley spent a few weeks playing on an intramural basketball league.  He is shooting free throws in this picture.

 My niece had a princess birthday party and Jaylee was more than happy to dress up for it.

 My mom even got in on the fun and came dressed up as Belle!  Jaylee told her that she looked gorgeous.

 Brady and Jaylee have become pretty good friends, since Easton has been gone at kindergarten.  In this picture, Brady is teaching Jaylee how to kick field goal.

 Joey and Lyra came down for Emmie's birthday party.  Since Joey's birthday was just a few days later, we surprised him with a pizza party.  All of the kids thought the pizza "cake" was great.

Riley's parents got me tickets to a ballet for my birthday.  I decided that it would be fun to take Melanie with me.  This picture is of us leaving for the ballet.  It was so fun!

Snow Day!

 We haven't had a lot of snow this winter, but we did finally have one snow day.  We did our best to take advantage of it.  In this picture, the boys are heading for the sledding hill.

This picture makes me laugh.  I told my parents that we were heading over to their house to play in the snow.  Of course, my dad went outside to shovel the sidewalks before we got there.  We had only been at my parent's house a few minutes and my dad looked outside.  He said, "Well I guess they decided to fill in the sidewalk."  They were completely undoing all of his work!  Just another reason to love having your grandkids live close by, I guess!

 A football for superbowl Sunday!

 Curls!!!  All it took was a curling iron and a lot of hairspray.  It was pretty much flat by the end of the day though!
