Easton lost his first tooth this past week. He was excited about it and liked having the tooth fairy come. This was the first of many loose teeth we will be having at our house over the next several years.

Back to School
Easton is back at Mintonye and in the 1st grade. He has really adjusted well, and loves this school year.
Brady is in Pre-K...
...and Jaylee is in Preschool 2.
Both Brady and Jaylee are still at Village Nursery School.
Random Shots From the Past Few Weeks
He is as nice as he is cute!
This is what happens when you have lots of little kids in your house and only one bathroom.
Riley's parents have some peach trees and they had lots of peaches this year. We froze a bunch of them, but I also made some pies. Brady loved helping to make the pie, and has been asking to make more. I am also excited because I was finally successful with making my Grandma Waterbury's pie crust.
So far this school year, Brady has found it hilarious to put sad faces on all of his crafts. He is really funny, but I sometimes I just don't know what do with him.
Turkey Run State Park
We had a free Saturday, so we packed a lunch, and headed over to Turkey Run. I loved having all of our family together and hiking. We probably hiked for over two hours and the kids did great!
Happy Birthday Riley
Riley turned 35 this year. We did the usual celebrations of dinner and cake with family. This year he wanted a new watch, sunglasses, and an electric razor.
Random Shots From the Past Few Weeks
I just love the view in my backyard!
After my mom and I finished running a 5k we found out that they were also having a free kids run. It was short, but my kids loved doing it. I hope they always enjoy exercise.
Sweet Chewy
It is obvious that Easton's Papa is an entomologist. The other day he came home from school with two library books about insects and a baggie with a cicada shell that he found on the playground.
I know how to knit a dish cloth, but this is the first scarf that I have ever knit. I am really happy with how it turned out!
Garden -- 2013
I was able to freeze plenty of green beans this year.
Cilantro always seems to do well in my garden. We bagged most of it up and froze it.
We had huge zucchini plants, but they didn't really produce that much fruit.
Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Zucchinis
My mom and I made some pickles about a month ago. They turned out quite tasty, but the spears were a little soft. However, the slices taste great on sandwiches!
I did red potatoes this year, and they did great! For the last month and half, I have just been sending Riley out to the garden to dig whenever I need potatoes.
