Random Shots from the Past Few Weeks

We went to Riley's parents for dinner last Sunday, and before we left an Indiana snowstorm started. This picture is taken out our front window on our drive home.

We also had this in front of us for a few miles. If you look closely you can see the lights of a scooter! I sure hope he didn't have much farther to go because he was fishtailing like crazy and must have been getting pelted in the face with snow. It did not look like fun!

Papa playing with his grandkids.

My parents house all decorated for Christmas.

Tim, Loni, Shayla, Curtis, and I all went to Purdue's Christmas show this year. That only left Riley to babysit. He had our three kids plus Dax. The boys were so excited to play with him and he even got to watch cartoons with the boys!

This is how I found Easton in our room the other day. He said that he, 'was being daddy.' Pretty cute, huh?

Jaylee's First Feeding

Like most babies, Jaylee was not too sure about her first taste of 'solid' food. Unlike most babies, after a few weeks of trying she still refuses to eat 'solid' food! Anyway here are a few pictures from our first attempt.

On top of clamping her mouth shut, she also has to make a sad face. She thinks we are being mean to her!

Chewy is a Unique Dog

Chewy was so tired the other night that Riley 'caught' him before he even decided to wake up. I don't know what Chewy does that he thinks he needs to take long naps on the biggest bed in our house. Chewy...

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we spent Thanksgiving with the Hayman side of the family. My grandma was even able to be there! I didn't have my camera with me and we only took a few pictures with Riley's cell phone. Here are just a couple of pictures from that day.
When we were done with dinner and visiting everyone, we went to my parents storage to get our Christmas trees. It was a tight fit but we got them all in the van, so we could take them home and start decorating!

The Kid Table

My with my green bean casserole. I was also in charge of the rolls and jello for dinner. Everyone agreed that this year's dinner was the best yet!

Learning to Sit Up

Jaylee is beginning to sit up by herself. She still has a little way to go, but she can sit up on her own by using her hands to hold herself up. She is really growing fast!

Cousin Jonathon's Big Weekend

My nephew Jonathon is adopted, and this past weekend we were able to be there to see him sealed to his family in the temple. It was a great experience for everyone.

You gotta love the look on Emmie's face in this picture!

Jaylee and Mom at the Temple
The boys stayed with Riley's family for the day, but since Jaylee is still nursing she got to ride along. I had to get a picture with my daughter at the temple.

Jaylee - 5 months

After the boy's birthdays and Halloween, I thought the blog was lacking in Jaylee pictures. So, here you go... enjoy!
Jaylee looked so cute this day. Her bow was so big, that when she saw herself in the mirror she started laughing! She wore this bow again the other day and when my dad saw her he said, "What do you have on her head?" I told him it was just a big bow, and he said, "She is not going to like you for doing that to her." I bet she will enjoy looking back at her baby pictures when she is all grown up.

Jaylee's new thing is to stick her tongue straight out into a point. I call her the 'Lizard Girl' when she does that. It is pretty cute, though!

Pretty Girl

Jaylee also enjoys playing with her feet...
